INTRODUCTION
The program consists of theory presentation and practical session to equip the participants with the knowledge and a comprehensive set of skills to handle various emergencies situation to raise awareness, familiarization and confidence in first aid and medical emergency procedures in most workplaces. This module meets the standard requirement in compliance with the Department of Occupational Safety and Health (DOSH) guidelines.
OBJECTIVES
At the end of the program, participant should be able to: -
Provide first aid and perform CPR to casualties during emergency
Recognize the type of injuries that occur most frequently in workplace
Dealing with emergency situations
Understand the skills and techniques to perform Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and Automated External Defibrillator (AED)
Understand and able to define, describe and perform primary checks on victim.
